Holiday Decor

There are many ways to decorate a home for the holidays, as there are homes.

His style is colorful and abundant, or black and white and minimalist? How do you decorate the whole house, or only a few rooms? Some focus on their formal sector. Or if you're like me, maybe you enjoy Christmas by putting the accents in every room, including bedrooms and bathrooms.

There is no right or wrong. holiday decorations are very personal and are a wonderfulto give the chance for your creativity.

The first has to decide what is the feeling evoked. If you are looking for traditional and formal, or perhaps playing with colors and unexpected materials?

Colors: Traditionally, the most popular colors for holiday decorations red, green and white. Accent colors are gold and silver, but why not try something different this year? single-colored decorations are beautiful and stylish. Decorate your tree with goldOrnaments and sparkling white lights - the effect will be surprised. non-traditional colors are a great idea. Over the years, many of my clients come to me vacation time and asked for help to go beyond the obvious. Some want to match your decor on the overall color of the house. There is nothing better than rich colors and amazing. Why not start with the favorites? Blue and beige is your passion? Check This year, close to the family holidaySocks from the same cloth as your favorite pillow or throw - and then treat the decorations that complement the sophisticated color scheme. Brown and Burnt Orange are your favorites? Go to the same colors on your tree and wreath with real and fake fruit and flowers.
For all purposes: to stimulate holiday decorations, the sights, sounds and smells evoke powerful memories of family celebrations in previous years. Pots made of wood or metal, pine cones, green and full of seasonFruit. Try scented candles and potpourri. Play holiday music softly in the background. Float candles and flowers in silver or crystal bowls to create a magical effect, and place scented candles with fresh flowers in the ladies room.
A tree with a theme: This is one of my favorites. His motto can use tree ornaments vintage - maybe hand-painted wooden ornaments - boy or a tree with cars, trucks and aircraft, or a white gold or monochromatic tree issues, or a "family tree"fully decorated with miniature frames with pictures of family and friends.

The Foyer

This part of the house, always on stage but never during the holidays. Decorate your table with entry of large hurricanes and crown. Let the crown surrounded the front door properly. are bright red apples, with plenty of green boxwood, magnolia leaves and pineapple in one's life - I recently saw a painting company catalog with a plaque in the shape of a fan of fake green and fruitfocal point for a perfectly good goal.

The jacket

Make sure your ad is well balanced and not too crowded. The best results are obtained when the decorations in the mirror. With flickering candles and greenery, this can become a true luxury vacation. Crowns can be madestand or hung on a wall or mirror frame. Topiaries and wreaths for the Open or a mixture of seasonal fruits, whether real or fake. My favorite is a combination of both, where oranges and magnolia leaves mixed with pink complement cinnamon sticks, dried slices of lemon and natural pinecones. This can be truly spectacular in color, the real work during the holidays. Use building forms for places favorite fruit centerpieces and other pin of the season. The molds are made of metal or plasticin various shapes and sizes and a great help make decorating ideas.

You can come to light of a candle, two or three on a stand, and fit most standard window sills. The effect is even more beautiful if you add a mini-window, beautiful crown or garland.

The table

A rich, colorful tablecloths, cutlery and special dishes for all find a place on a table of holiday welcome. Keep an eye out for special beer mats, napkins and centerpieces and unusual chandeliers with candle rings. See alloff problems with a paper with pine cones or berries.
